Dr. Dabbous keeps current with the latest advancements and technologies in the dental field by regularly attending international and regional workshops and seminars and has accumulated more than 700 hours of Continued Education training.

Dr. Tamer Dabbous graduated in 1999 from University of Florida, one of the top Dental colleges in the USA. He joined the US Navy shortly after and began his career as a Naval Luitenant Dentist practicing at one of the largest dental clinics in the world in Chicago, Illinois where he earned a General Dentistry Fellowship and continued to train in Endodontics (root canal treatments) under the guidance of some of the best dental clinicians in the areas of root canals and oral surgery. During his US Navy service he received the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal for outstanding dental treatments.

After the navy, Dr. Dabbous joined one of Tampa, Florida’s premiere dental group practices. There he was clinical director for adult services for a multi speciality office of 24 staff members and a patient base of more than 6000. Dr. Dabbous continued to be the best producing dentist in the area’s of Cosmetic Dentistry & Endodontics.

His professional journey landed him in Muscat, Oman to be close to his wife’s family and raise his three children in a warm loving family environment. In 2006 The Dental and Oral Center was established as a family dental clinic of husband and wife. Dr. Dabbous’ wife with her health care administration master’s qualifications and expertise helped create the clinic brand “warm, inviting and caring” dental office. Dr. Dabbous introduced for the first time in Muscat, Oman, the American dental standards and quality. We celebrated our 10th year in 2016 and continue our success story serving the community with our wide client base and superior dental services.
